IBIZA EVENT COMPANY delivered the international product launch and press event in Ibiza for Panasonic Technics, presenting the new SL-1210MK7 turntable to selected international music and technology journalists.
The objective of the event was to introduce the new SL-1210MK7 not only through technical presentations but through an authentic brand experience tailored specifically to journalists and industry professionals.
At the center of the concept was the idea that a legendary turntable should be presented by someone who truly represents vinyl culture. The choice naturally fell on DJ Sven Väth, one of the world’s most influential techno pioneers. Having played exclusively on vinyl for more than four decades, his personal history is closely connected to the Technics turntable since its original launch.
IBIZA EVENT COMPANY developed and executed the creative product launch concept, including location research, program design and participant management. The press conference took place at OD Talamanca, where journalists were welcomed with a relaxed lunch before Frank Balzuweit, Business Development Manager at Technics Consumer Electronics, officially presented the technical innovations of the SL-1210MK7.
Following the presentation, journalists participated in an in-depth Q&A session and product discussion with Sven Väth, whose openness and authenticity created a unique dialogue between artist, brand and media.
The launch experience continued into the evening, allowing guests to see the turntable in real-world use during one of Sven Väth’s live performances. After dinner at Cipriani Downtown Ibiza in the Ibiza Gran Hotel, the group moved on to Amnesia Ibiza, where a reserved VIP area ensured optimal visibility of the DJ and the turntables in action.
The event was supported by professional photo and video production, dedicated on-site service and a stand-by shuttle concept enabling flexible guest movement throughout the night and seamless transfers the following day.
The result: extensive international press coverage and a successful global product launch for Panasonic Technics.
